With our annual toy drive for 2009 successfully completed, we reached 877 children with toys and clothes! We were able to have gifts for all of the children at Escondido Central Elementary School, the YWCA Cortez Hill homeless shelter and a domestic violence shelter.

We are now looking ahead to this years toy drive for 2010. We want to keep increasing our collection to make each New Year better than the year before. Please keep in mind that we accept toys and clothes donations all through the year. Our collection center is at our Vice President, SB’s house located at:

This year we are also collecting various items for Christmas season gift baskets for the for homeless and needy parents and their children. The items we are looking for include any travel size toiletry items that you would see in hotels room such as:

soap shampoo powders toothpaste tooth brushes

We are also looking for wicker baskets or Easter baskets, small stuffed animals, ribbon and bow material, cellophane wrapping material to contain the items in the baskets, Christmas decorations to decorate the outside of the baskets.
